This project explores the question: What is “Israeli fashion”? When I arrived, everything felt unfamiliar. Soldiers casually walked in uniform with weapons, women of all ages wore Mickey Mouse pajamas in public, and jeans were a staple for every occasion. These details shaped my perception of Israeli culture, so different from my Ukrainian roots. I translated these impressions into an oversized denim suit with a unique textile technique, pairing it with a traditional Ukrainian shirt to weave together my past and present. More than just clothing, this piece tells a story of adaptation and the meeting of two worlds.
